Ok well I don't know about all of you but for us Canadians it was the first weekend on the water!! Wuu wuuu And yes I spent the entire night up all excited. You know the feeling, of being off the water for MONTHS then finally stepping back into the club, smelling the water and knowing that you are home. Well you wouldn't think that anything could go wrong on such a perfect day, but that was far from the truth. My club is such a joke sometimes, they stick me with a novice coach and novice senior/junior mixed eight. IT WAS Horribblleee!! Like I almost regretted ever stepping foot at Henley those years before. But then I got over that feeling and just sat there - Trying to steer this travesty down the coarse which may I add, is still half frozen.
Yes it was a Horrible day that I will never recover from, but those girls aren't my regular crew (no offense but girl rowers whine too much to girl coxies). haha. So it can only get better. It wasn't as good as it should've been but there isn't anything bad enough to make me leave the sport.
So for all of you who's first day maybe just didn't fill ure expectations, it can only get better. I'm 75% sure of it!!
Always...row it 'till the end!!(stick it out)
Row it Till the End!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Luck staying warm
