Well first me and my crew went down to Marrietta Ohio for a spring training. It was a great week and all of our boats made great steps towards victory. Then we had our first regatta, Hebda Cup. I had the Varsity 8, the Junior 8, and the Lightweight 8. All my boats qualified but only one took a medal and that the was the V 8 which took gold (the only medal you can get) and we won the Hebda cup on the girls side.

Then came WyHy. I had all the same boats again but this time the V 8 and J 8 took seconds to Canadian boats. Our next regatta Midwest sadly was cancelled due to weather. Then we ventured over to Canada where i had the V8 and V 4. They both qualified but only the 8 medaled second behind Carlson. Then we were off to Canadian school boy where my 4 didn't make it past heats and my 8 made it all the way to semi finals.

All in all i think that our season was a good season. It may not have been our best but we took many strides and we are already working hard to make next year an even better season.

Good luck to everyone over the summer maybe i'll see you guys at some regattas. I coxie for the Wyandotta Boat Club Junior A in the summer and then to our fall season. Then it is to finish up my last year of high school crew....lol
